"Mihir is a former student of mine and a terrific one. He's smart, thoughtful, and collaborative. What makes him a great contributor is his generosity and respect for the opinions, skills and contributions of others he works with. He's clearly talented and technically adept himself. But he also has the rare trait of bringing out the talents and abilities in others he works with."

Shashank Kulkarni

Engineering Manager,

MathWorks

"I have worked with Mihir for about 4 years now. We started working together when Mihir was in his final year at Symbiosis institute. I was his project sponsor and Mihir’s main task was to design fractal antennas for Antenna Toolbox. It took him about 3 months to create a brand-new antenna catalog element. He showed a good understanding of the EM concepts as well as the software architecture which was necessary to complete the project successfully. His impressive work led to an offer for a full-time position in my team. Over the last 3 years since joining the team, Mihir has done a great job taking on complex projects and completing them on time. He is one of the go-to guys in my team when it comes to developing UI applications. He is an expert at design patterns and develops stable and reusable architecture. Mihir is highly organized person, which ensures that even the minutest detail about the project do not escape him. Every year at MathWorks Mihir has performed above and beyond the job responsibilities."

Senior Team Lead,

MathWorks

"Mihir is a fast learner, quick responder, and deliver his work in a timely manner. During his stay at MathWorks, he leaded three major app development work in Antenna and RF PCB Toolbox. His work produces easy to use, customer friendly apps for antenna and rf engineers.
Mihir is very easy to work with. He listen to others' feedback, communicate and take it to action. It has been a great pleasure to work with him."

Arun Pande

Chief Scientist & Consultant,

TATA Consultancy Services

"I found Mihir keen on exploring innovative solutions to the problems faced by people. He developed a haptic feedback vibration vest for the visually handicapped for his B. Tech. project. In this, a visually handicapped person is able to get feedback of the surrounding obstacles in the form of vibrations through small vibration motors attached to their vest. He took initiative and arranged a meeting of his project guide Dr. Rahee Walambe with me to discuss the technical approach.
The system which Mihir developed, contains two camera sensors that collect the images of the surroundings and calculate the depth of the obstacles. The intensity and the location of motor activation depend on this depth and the location in the view of the image.
Mihir and his teammates secured a patent for this invention. He also explored opportunities to productize the prototype. Mihir communicates well and connects easily with people. I wish Mihir great success in his future endeavour."

Dandelion is a digital contracting platform that assists anyone with getting access to high quality software development through the use of community oriented development. On our platform, anyone can gain access to a development community that assists them with the process of project creation through completion and quality control using community oriented development. In essence, on our platform, creators only pay for the best work out of the talent pool and developers' work is judged objectively.

Haptic Feedback System

The Haptic Feedback System is to aid the visually challenged person help navigate by creating a vibration map on the jacket worn by the person. The obstacles in front of the person are perceived by the camera sensors attached to the glasses. The OpenCV API and the pair of cameras determine the depth of the obstacle and TensorFlow is used for object identification.

NanoShine

Dental plaque is a biofilm that consists of a wide variety of microorganisms and their by-products. Once calcified, their removal is difficult, even with the use of professional dental instruments. Nanoparticles must be routinely introduced to a biofilm in order to penetrate and disrupt its structural integrity. Our application will deliver the existing nanoparticle technology (developed by Alfred Mann Institute, University of Southern California) to treat dental biofilms in a way that places no additional burden on the patient.
